I'm an English girl with a New York soul, a bookworm, history nerd, balletomane, lifelong learner, pizza junkie and self-care devotee. I love watching documentaries and 80s movies; collecting vintage books, staying active, spending time outdoors, and reading novels written before I was born.

How much does a Squarespace Web Designer cost?
The cost of working with a Squarespace Web Designer varies based on their experince, skillset and the service offered. My custom website packages are all-inclusive and cost between £2000-£3000 GBP or $2500-$4000 USD. For smaller projects, it is usual to hire a designer by the day. For re-designs, glow-ups, troubleshooting, and customisation work, I charge £950 or £1200 per day.

I offer two main Squarespace web design services: full website builds, and intensive design days. If you'd like to chat about the options in more detail, feel free to book a call.
Do I need to hire a Squarespace Web Designer?
You can absolutely design a website yourself on Squarespace, but you'll almost certainly end up with a better one if you hire a professional Squarespace web designer. Aside from taking the job off your hands – saving you time, effort and inevitable frustration – you'll know that your website is meeting best practice in terms of accessibility and search engine optimisation, works well across all devices and is strategically designed to meet you and your customers unique needs.
Working with a professional Squarespace Web Designer also opens up the possibility of working with custom code and not needing to rely on a template for your website. However, you'll still be able to manage and edit the website easily yourself going forward using the DIY Squarespace tools. I have been working in the web design industry for almost two decades now (yikes!) but found the middle-ground offered by Squarespace to be so compelling that I started offering Squarespace web design exclusively in 2017.
